Body Building Techniques Gain 34lbs of Muscle in 4 Weeks

Tim Ferris a brilliant author, wrote a blog that fits perfectly here as a Body Building Techniques blog entitled "From Geek to Freak How I Gained 34lbs of Muscle in 4 Weeks". The title got my attention fast 34lbs of Muscle in 4 weeks doesn't seem possible but hey the guy was weighed measured and hydro-statically tested for the "experiment" by the Human Performance Laboratory at the San Jose State University. Hmmmm, sounds legit to me.

Looking through the posts on his blog one gets the feeling that Tim can do just about anything. His blog is amazing. But what body building techniques did he use to gain 34lbs of muscle in 4 weeks?

Tim breaks his success down to 6 steps which I will paraphrase. Twice per week he performed 1 set to failure full body workouts.  During his 4 weeks Tim consumed copious amounts of protein with low-glycemic index carbs, but dropped caloric intake by 50% one day per week to prevent protein uptake down regulation (I'll have to look that one up). Tim performed every rep 5 seconds up, 5 seconds down to ensure constant load and max out intensity.

Did you get that twice per week part? that means he only worked out like 8 times!. He gained more than 4 lbs per workout…,my head is still spinning. Take a look at a Tim's blog for the rest of the story and pictures they're incredible.

Seems like Tim Ferris is super human or a super computer disguised as a human being. I remember the blog post that he wrote up about this. Was wondering if it could be done, but he managed to do it.
